Dear Friend,

For the past 15 years, we have been on a journey together for wholeness in South Nashville. At Harvest Hands, our work for wholeness has focused specifically on healthy living, education, economic development and spiritual formation, and has allowed us to make real change in our community.

Today we have former students running our coffee shops and our production facility, leading our after school programs and sports leagues, and helping other kids know they are loved and their lives matter.

John Perkins, the founder of the Christian Community Development Association, often says, “The greatest form of poverty is when someone believes that they have nothing to offer.” We have intentionally made it our work to affirm the dignity of each of our students through the years.

We never shy away from letting our students know that regardless of whether or not they believe in God, God believes in them.
