Did you know?
Tennessee is a child care desert. Children in Tennessee’s under-resourced neighborhoods often have lower reading levels, prolonged exposure to violent crimes, and issues with truancy.
Harvest Hands is committed to providing holistic, accessible K-12 child care to develop and empower local student leaders.
Every day at Harvest Hands, 80+ students gather to complete homework, grow as leaders, and develop skills in literacy and math through a lense of trauma-informed care.
We are opening a second after school site!
After 15 years serving the South Nashville/Napier-Sudekum community, we are excited to expand our mission at a second site off of Harding Pike! Join us in prepping the space for our newest students by shopping our wishlist below or by making a donation.
In order to make a great learning environment for our students, we need pencils, paper, flash cards, cleaning supplies, and more.
We put together an Amazon wish list with everything we need to kick off a year of learning and growing together. When you buy an item off the wish list, it will ship directly to us! This is an easy way to meet a critical need.
